YLP type lamination ink

Detailed introduction

YLP ink is a popular gravure inner printing lamination packaging printing ink, suitable for BOPP, OPP film printing. It can be combined with various lamination materials such as CPP, CPE, aluminum coating, and aluminum foil in a dry lamination adhesive way, with excellent adhesion and ideal lamination peel strength. YLP ink has excellent printing stability and can be used with different solvents. It can be widely used in various low-speed to medium high speed rotary gravure printing machines (25-120 meters per minute)

Suitable substrates: BOPP, OPP, and modified OPP film with surface tension over 38 dyne

Advantages

  1. The ink has high color concentration and covering power, with fine particles, making the printing color soft

    2. Accurate color printing, clear layering, and reproduction of photographic film and dots

        3. Ink printing has excellent transferability and stability, without damaging the scraper and plate material

        4. The printed image is clear and not easily affected by film static electricity, resulting in burrs and floating flowers

    5. The solvent residue is extremely low

    Suitable for printing machines:

It can be widely used for various domestically produced printing machines and imported rotary gravure printing machines, printing speed from 25 to 120 meters per minute. Electroengraving and etching plates are suitable, with 150 lines/inch and 15-50 microns depth cylinder.

    Diluent:

Slow drying: Toluene 70%, xylene 10%, MEK 10% and ethyl acetate 10%

Normal drying: Toluene 70%, MEK 20% and ethyl acetate 10%

Fast drying: Toluene 50%,  MEK 30% and ethyl acetate 20%

The above dilution solvent formula is a recommended formula. Users must consider the temperature, humidity, ventilation conditions, and drying system of the actual operating environment in the factory when operating, and adjust the distance between each color flexibly. The solvent must be mixed well before being slowly added to the ink. If possible, try to avoid using a single toluene dilution

    Printing viscosity:

According to the speed of printing, the depth of the printing plate, and the required color concentration, it is recommended to print ideally

    Viscosity:

White ink: 11-18 seconds, Zahn cup 3#,25

Color ink:  12-20 seconds, Zahn cup 3#,25

    Precautions

    1. YLP series gravure inner printing lamination food packaging printing ink is only used for food, cold Dim sum and ordinary fast food packaging, not suitable for high-temperature cooking and food containing oil.

    2. The YLP series composite ink is specifically designed for lamination inner printing packaging and is not recommended for surface printing

    3. Ink is sensitive to moisture and impurities. Do not use solvents with high water content and heavy impurities to dilute the ink, so as not to affect the quality of the ink. For ink that has been used in the ink tank for a long time, it must be regularly mixed with fresh ink. Unused ink should be covered to prevent solvent evaporation and quality change

    4. Pay attention to the quality of the adhesive to avoid affecting the lamination strength

     5. The printed film is aged for 24 hours to avoid affecting the lamination strength

     6. To achieve the desired lamination effect, it is recommended to do the following:

    A. The amount of lamination adhesive between plastics shall not be less than 2.5g/M2

    B. The lamination adhesive amount between plastic and CPP aluminum coating shall not be less than 3.5g-4g/M2

    C. Please contact your company's supplier for specific technical specifications or requirements for adhesive
